I was asked to draw a suggestion for a band logo for the goth metal band Our Sin from Copenhagen.
My idea was telling the story of “The Fall of Man” in one picture, that at the same time captures the gloomyness and melancholy found in Our Sin’s music.
On the photos the logo is worn by guitar player Simon at the Emergenza Festival 2009.

The recent debate in the Danish newspapers about nuclear power is illustrated by my little drawing, wow!

Now my shirt designs have met the challenge of family and friends with babies. So my latest shirt design turned out to be POWER GIRL at sizes 0-1 year.

In February I went on a trip to the Pearl River Delta in China with my urban design class at the university. Here I visited Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Kaiping and Macao. Now the photos are online at my Flickr site.

New photos on my Flickr site! This time from the Ruhrgebiet in old West Germany. This area was the former industrial heart of Europe. Now there are very big industrial landscapes with new activities embedded into the old and beautiful industrial plants. I can highly recommend a visit!

During the summer holiday, I have been working on this little collection of shirts inspired by old viking ornaments from jewellery and rune stones. Still it’s completely hand crafted prints and the shirts are yet only for friends and family.
Pauli and I went for a little trip to the capital of the former Habsburg Empire in the middle of August.

It is summer holiday – the exams for this semester are passed – and now I finally got som time for uploading photos from the study trip in May. A really action packed trip arranged by the University. If you are just a little interested in architecture, then the Netherlands is the place to go!

One week ago I came back to Aalborg after a 21 days wonderful trip to New Zealand. We traveled around the South Island and saw incredibly many beautiful things. I have uploaded the photos to my Flickr-site.

Actually I designed this one some years ago, mostly for fun and inspired by a friend who really loves nuclear power. So we thought there ought to be an alternative to the NO-stickers.

For christmas I designed some new shirts for my sisters and friends. I hope to publish more shirt designs in the future – and perhaps it will be possible to buy them here on this site!
At the Culture Night this year I got involved in a nice project with some fellow artists from the shared art studio at 1000fryd in Aalborg. This year’s theme for the night was ‘kaOZ’ (chaos), which inspired us to bring out all our works in the street in stead of displaying it at a traditional gallery.
Inspired by the chaos of the street and the sorroundings we put our works together in a street-scale installation transforming the street outside 1000fryd into an atmosphere of a hi-tech future with a touch of urban decay. The installation consisted of both paintings, banners (which I made), sculptures, live performance, electronic music and ultraviolet light.
The Banners
The 4 banners are 5 m x 1,4 m and made of semi-transparent fabric with UV-paint to create an illusion of self-illuminating floating symbols. The length of the banners covers the entire width of the street, when they are attached between the two buildings, and together they are defining the height of the ‘room’ in the street. Unfortunately the banners got stolen about a week after the event :(
At least I got some nice photos I hereby share with you.
The event was to our surprise attracting a lot of people during the evening – and the regional tv-channel ‘TV Nord’ spent a moment on it in the following day’s news.
